1. Complexity: always be skeptical when one thing or group is blamed for many evils
2. Learn reading (or listening): Learn how to detect blathering, invalid argumentations and ideological contents. Read (or hear) different opinions and try to understand (not necessarily accept) other views.
3. Trust your own mind: When you find something strange there’s a reason for that in most cases. Be ready to change your mind though.
4. Most importantly, do some research! And learn how to research. Your mind won’t save you from deceptions. Always read more than one source. If contradictions occur, try to find out why there are different narratives. AND DON’T LET THE REPTILES FOOL YOU!
